What you do: Your self guided route encompasses spectacular lookouts over Broken Bay, Brisbane Water and the coastal beaches. You visit a selection of the areas best beaches, including the beautiful shoreline of Terrigal. Somersby Falls is an excellent place to take a walk in the rainforest. Some of the lookouts are accessed by a short bushwalk of easy grade.
Take your morning tea in the sleepy village of Patonga on the most southerly beach on the Central Coast. Enjoy your lunch in Killcare overlooking the beautiful Hardys Bay. |

Where you go: Travelling north from Sydney you cross the Hawkesbury River and head for the bordering Brisbane Water National Park, known for its wildflowers and native fauna. After exploring the park you travel east to Bouddi National Park, which has a cliff frontage onto Broken Bay and the ocean. You return to Sydney via Somersby Falls, located in pristine Central Coast bushland. MAP >> |
